Diving centers in Mallorca are allowed to open from June 8th!

According to the fact that today the 4-step plan on the way back to normality started with phase 0 and the Mallorcans are allowed to go for walks again, it appears that the diving centers in Mallorca will probably open again from the 8th of June at the beginning of phase 3. In Mallorca, which has an exceptional position in Spain due to the special island location and the quickly implemented quarantine measures with below-average numbers of infections, the diving-free time could soon be over.

For many of the diving centers, however, the new safety requirements are a major challenge. Among other things, it must be ensured that the changing areas of the diving guests and their equipment are strictly separated from the storage rooms for rental equipment and are also new clearance rules as well as hygiene and disinfection regulations have been extremely tightened so that diving guests can dive safely and safely again soon.

It is currently also extremely difficult for the diving centers to determine the right time for the reopening, since it depends on many other factors as to when enough diving guests can be expected again to ensure economical diving operations.

SCUBANAUTIC.com will keep you up to date in the next few weeks and tell you which dive center will open again.
